Chimamanda Adichie feted at The Literary Evening 2013.

The acclaimed and award winning writer, Chimamanda  Adichie was recently feted  at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria island Lagos. Other guests at the event include Nico Vervelde MD/C.E.O Nigerian Breweries, Binyavanga Wainana, Aslak Sira Myhre, Eghosa Imasuen, Kufre Ekanem, Corporate Affairs Adviser Nigerian Breweries. Her third novel, Americanah has already won an award and movie-goers are anxiously waiting for the release of the movie adaptation of her novel,Half of a Yellow Sun, a drama that brings together the lives of four people during the struggle to establish an independent republic in Nigeria and features stars like Thandie Newton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joseph Mawle.
