The long awaited first commercial international flight operated by Ethiopian Airlines (pictured above) landed at the Akanu Ibiam International airport Enugu this evening. The airport staff were excited since this development will encourage more commercial activities in and around the airport. We hope that other airlines will be cleared to operate in this airport to bring their services closer to their customers.
Kudos to the Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah and her team.
