Farewell to a great woman - Chief Mrs Monica Akwugo Waturuocha Offurum

Sometimes in life we meet people that touch our lives in a deep and profound way making them truly unforgettable. Monica Waturuocha Offurum was charismatic, enterprising and full of heart and love. Her humility was legendary, her exploits in business and politics were unparallelled. She had great capacity to love. She was born into the ancient royal  kingdom of Waturuocha in Nguru  Mbaise Imo State, a true princess and a great lady, worthy of emulation, her poise, her strength of character, her enigma, her formidable and yet gentle nature cannot be forgotten easily. Mama, as she was fondly called, was with us for 103years, indeed God blessed her greatly, it felt like she will be with us forever... I know she is smiling down on us from heaven! Fare thee well great mentor, mother & friend! ala erie la! I love you grandma, so much. So many fond and lovely memories to draw from and cannot be easily erased, your smile was priceless. Rest in peace, perfect peace, Ada Ezenweala 1 of Mbaise. Nne Omereoha 1 of Emekuku.
