The rationale behind setting up unity schools all over Nigeria is one of the best ideas to come out of our country. Children from everywhere in Nigeria were gathered together in Unity schools, trained and taught to live with one another. In the process they understudied and learnt how to interact with kids from different cultures, communities and social settings. These children grew to be what could be called 'true Nigerians' who had no ethnic biases or mindset. I think that this system of training our kids should be encouraged at all levels of education.
However, in view of the cut of points above,the question remains:
Is Federal Character really helping Nigeria?
