The singer stares back at readers of British GQ on their 25th anniversary issue with slit-like pupils and a possessed gaze.
The provocative photographs, directed by Damien Hirst, sees her open mouthed with a visible tongue as a nest of snakes slither around her head. 

Ahead of the magazine’s release, Rihanna tweeted about the provocative cover, referring to the shot as making her look like Greek goddess Medusa, a mythological monster who has snakes instead of

‘Medusa head on me like I'm 'luminati!!!! She. x Damien Hirst #GQ #25thAnniversary #COVER,’ she tweeted Friday night.
The social media savvy singer posted another snap from the shoot captioned ‘I love playing with dominant animals! These 2 were double the trouble, but they're superstars!!! #snakez #GQ #RiRi #88babies #25thanniversary’.
Beyond grotesque?I think it's crazy, why on earth would someone do this kinda photoshoot?
