A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Raphael Oloye Nomiye, from Ondo State slumped and died on Saturday,after allegedly having sex with his banker at his home in Gwarinpa Estate Abuja.
Sources disclosed that the banker, who is now in police custody at the Gwarinpa Police Division, had earlier denied having sexual affair with the lawmaker before his death. But she was said to have changed her statement after doctors at the National Hospital conducted an examination on corpse, which confirmed that the deceased had slept with a woman shortly before his demise.
The sources said after the test, the banker admitted to interrogators that she had actually slept with the deceased and had helped him to clean up, after which he went into the bathroom, where he suddenly fell and began to vomit blood. Police investigators who inspected the lawmaker’s house had succeeded in recovering some items, including a bottle of water, which the deceased lawmaker had drank from, some tissue paper and the clothes the deceased had worn earlier in the day
However,his younger brother,Mr Jackson Nomiye has denied this allegation saying that his elder brother slumped and died when he was about to have his bath around 9.30pm last Friday. He believes the death might have been as a result of hypertension.
The police have not been able to confirm the cause of death since investigations are still going on to unravel the incident.

Yemisi I'm with you on this. I read the story and was very amused. What has the woman got to do with? This is only possible in Nigeria where there's no records of a man's medical history. Where the easiest way out of any issue is to blame it on jazz. The only things the police collected as evidence was tissue paper, bottle of water and his clothes. Lol. The doctor did not do a post moterm o instead they were checking for sex signs. His brother said he has hypertension but of course they brush it aside. Naija like propaganda sha.

She is probably just being detained for questioning, if they are able to determine that he died as a result of "over pumping", i'm sure she'll be let go immediately. They just wanna be sure there was no foul play associated with the death.

The lady shuold be relased fast instead of this empty show of shame by the police. After all the lawmaker was not raped. He must have begged the girl to lay with him for a favour... (Juice)
