Senate Clears Emefiele As New Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)



The senate has cleared Mr Godwin.I.Emefiele as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) .
He was the Managing Director of Zenith Bank PLC before his nomination by President Goodluck Jonathan to replace the suspended ex CBN Governor,Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
He will resume duties in June 2014.
