The real reason Beyonce and Jay Z snubbed Kimye's wedding revealed.

New reports have emerged on  Beyonce and Jay Z skipped the Italian nuptials: because Queen Bey did not want to be overshadowed by the bride.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six that the music power couple, who  are rumoured to be going through marital difficulties regarded the affair as too down market.

According to the report they 'shunned Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding because it was too low-rent for the Jay Z/Beyoncé brand.'
A source told the paper: 'They are guarding like hell their status.
'Beyoncé wasn’t going to allow a Kardashian to socially climb her. And Jay didn’t want Kanye with Kim  - he thinks it’s bad for business.
'I think Jay lost a little respect for Kanye there.'
Instead of travelling to Paris and then on to Florence with the wedding party in May,  Mr and Mrs Carter opted for a quiet weekend in the Hamptons wit their daughter Blue Ivy.
After the ceremony which drew worldwide publicity, the Grammy award winner tweeted: 'Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family.'
Before the wedding, radar online reported that Beyonce dreaded the thought of the lavish affair.
'Jay and Beyoncé’s wedding was shrouded in secrecy and extreme lengths were made to make sure their wedding was an intimate affair for friends and family, only,' an insider told Radar in March.
'This will be the complete opposite. She thinks it’s just tacky.'
