The #Icebucketwater Challenge has been trending for a while and it's already getting some controversy with our Naija celebs! Its gone viral with celebrities pouring freezing ice water on themselves and nominating three others. The whole idea is to raise money and so far,over $21million has been raised. Some people are calling them out for it and calling them ''copycats'' and Charles Novia says Don Jazzy, Genevieve Nnaji,Inyanya second class mentality in his tweets. The Icebucketwater Challenge supports those with Motor Neurone disease. It started in the US after a baseball player with MND (Motor Neurone Disease), Pete Frates, volunteered to have it done to him.
Actress, Genevieve, is the latest celeb to join the challenge and nominated Psquare and Jude.
The disease is known as ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in America and it affects a person’s ability to move voluntarily. It stops people eating, walking and talking,him.Iyanya joined International celebrities to take on the Ice bucket water challenge and he nominated Yvonne Nelson and some others to take on the challenge. Fans have been on her neck since then, asking her to do it. So Yvonne took to instagram to reply them and tell them why she wont do it. Read below:

I'm fully in support of Yvonne. We have bigger problems including lack of clean water. Nigerians are definitely copycats.

Dey dnt even know the meaning..doing it for fun to prove they know wasup! How many of dem has snapped wit hand sanitizer to enlighten pple about ebola..som pple dnt even kno d diff btw hand sanitizer and hand wash...dey shud start 4rm there.
