The entertainment industry in Nigeria is witnessing a wind of change. Artistes like Alapomeji Ajifolajifaola aka Nice ,Julius Agwu, Kate Henshaw have all gone into politics. Recently, renowned Nollywood actor and anchor of Gulder Ultimate Search reality show, Bob-Manuel Udokwu has also decided to venture into full-time politics.
Bob-Manuel who is a native of Idemili North Local Government in Anambra, has made known his intention to contest in the 2015 general elections into Anambra State House of Assembly to represent Idemili North constituency.
This was disclosed in a statement recently sent to media houses.
According to the statement, his decision to contest is to enable him contribute in developing and transforming the state in line with the vision of the present administration.
He also wants to help develop Idemili North and make it the constituency to beat in the state.
Bob-Manuel, a former SA to Governor Peter Obi, therefore called for prayers and support to enable him achieve his ambition to serve his people.
