Olive Nebo Ozioma, who studied Economics, at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in her mid 20's was looking forward to her first day of 2015. She excitedly announced on her Facebook page how happy she was to make it to the new year. She rang in the New Year with a post made at 3.37am on January 1st, 2015, below:
"OMG!!! Its 2015..... Is anyone feeling this vibe with me? Am sure you are! Lets celebrate together! We are blessed.... Hip Hip Hip!!!, "
Later that morning, she went to jog and according to family sources, she died of Cardiac arrest.
Her death comes as a rude shock to family and friends, who insist that she wasn't sick, her death has been trending online. Indeed death can come at any time. What a painful loss. May her soul rest in peace. I can't imagine what her family especially her mum would be going through. So sad.
A big lesson to everyone, I think its important to do a medical check before starting any strenuous exercise and please let's do our routine tests for the year. Let's not take our health for granted. She died too young. She's not a celeb but her death is a lesson to all and she's also from my alma mater.
