Singer John Legend's super model wife, Chrissy shared an honest and retouched photo of her body. She shared a photo of her thighs with stretch marks with the world, showing bruises she said came from “bumping into kitchen drawer handles”. She added that her stretch marks were also saying hi. Funny, but so real! And so many of her followers have shown their appreciation with almost 100K likes and comments. See them below...
- "Wow, this makes me feel so much better about my legs. I hate the stretch marks on my thighs. Thanks for keeping it real @ChrissyTeigen you are so gorgeous. I never would have guessed you have flaws like the rest of us gals. #GirlPower #StrongWoman"
- "Love this girl @ChrissyTeigen you boosted my confidence up up up!!! Thanks for being real".
- "So real, so incredibly awesome! LOVE THIS"
Chrissy Teigen is a beautiful supermodel who often graces the pages of high-profile magazines.
Often, these sorts of images are airbrushed and touched up in Photoshop but she decided to show her ''flaws''.
In this era of plastic surgery, air brushing and photo shopping it's refreshing to see a celeb remind us that it's not a crime for a little ''imperfection'' called stretch marks.
She's keeping it real! Chrissy Teigen post is now inspiring other women to love their lines
Women have been proudly sharing pictures of their stretch marks on Instagram, using the hashtag #LoveYourLines.
Got stretch marks? Well without photoshop these amazing women have them, just like me and you! #LoveYourLines...
Wahala dey oo!
ReplyDeleteCan't see no stretchies; she should see my map cos hers are baby stretch marks.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is a curse.glad that this display has helped a lot of insecure ppl out there.smdh.tech gas made ppl become riddled with low self confidence still can't get over a 15-year old having extreme plastic surgery over a boy! What the hell is this world turning into?
ReplyDeleteI don't consider stretch marks as"imperfections".I've had mine just like hers since puberty I'm in my 30s and I wear bum shorts with no care in the world.
ReplyDeleteI love her for sharing and making people feel more confident about themselves.
Am glad it is the same Americans that cade women so insecure with "stripes" that are campaigning for acceptance of our bodies now.
