It was previously reported that he was keeping his wedding ring on for the sake of his three children.

But Ben Affleck has been spotted without the band on his most recent outings.

The 43-year-old actor was seen without his jewellery while heading to a studio in the Culver City neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Wednesday.

It was reported last month that Ben and Jennifer were keeping them on for the sake of their three children, Violet, aged nine, Seraphina, aged six, and Samuel, aged three, according to a Wednesday report from People.com. 

'The kids are a big part of why they're still wearing them,' a source told the weekly.

However it seems as if Ben has had a change of heart as he was spotted sporting a light blue polo, jeans and grey New Balance trainers but nothing on his left ring finger.

It is an interesting time for the couple as a new Wednesday report from People says Ben and his 43-year-old wife are planning on working on the details of their divorce via a private mediator.

No doubt the arbitrator will help the process along as there is plenty to figure out including their original intentions of living in the same property in LA with the main home being under renovation.

The weekly's insider claims: 'Jen will always make sure that Ben spends as much time with the kids as he wants, but she is rethinking their living situation.'

Ben and Jennifer announced the end of their ten-year marriage two months ago, in a joint statement in which they stressed their plans to 'co-parent' their children.
