Yesterday, Instagram users gave live reports of a fire incident at the home of a Zenith Bank staff in Osapa London, Lekki. The family reportedly had refilled their ACs earlier that day but it blew up following a power surge, and resulted in a destructive fire that razed the building. From the reports, the family were unable to save any of their belongings; their children narrowly escaped. Sadly, their father had boarded a flight to Zambia but he caused a stir before take off and was allowed to leave only to return home to find the heartbreaking scene.
Also, as it was during the last fire incident in Lagos, the poor response from the Lagos State Fire Service was the sole reason the building was completely razed as the Chevron station arrived the scene with no water.
