An insider told Us Weekly that the singer and her child are living 'a lavish life' and added 'nurses are waiting on them hand and foot.'
Meanwhile her mother Katherine is said to be planning to fly out to see her daughter and grandson with her Jackson Five star son Jermaine.
The Twenty Foreplay star and her 41-year-old man announced their happy news after she gave birth on January 3, a spokesman saying: 'Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world.
Janet had a stress-free, healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.’
Pleasure Principle favourite Janet, who is said to have converted to Islam, had previously kept tight-lipped on her pregnancy, though she did say that they 'thank God for our blessing.' She also thanked fans for their prayers.
According to experts it almost certainly involved an intensive IVF course that would likely have involved donor eggs unless Jackson had already had her own frozen.
Her megarich husband works for The Al Mana Group, which was founded by his father, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana. It is now owned by Wissam and his brothers Hisham and Kamal.
The tycoon, who has an estimated worth of $1 billion, is the executive director of the group, which runs Harvey Nichols, Zara and Mango stores in the Middle East and also counts designer brands such as Hermes and Alexander McQueen among its portfolio.
The Qatari conglomerate runs a raft of businesses from cars to technology as well as acting as a franchisee of international retail brands.
When she cancelled the remaining shows of her Unbreakable tour in March last year Janet said: 'Please, if you can try and understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders.
'But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.'
Given her supposed new faith it is unlikely it will be as raunchy as previous tours.
