Serena Williams shows off her enormous engagement ring..

Serena Williams has shown off her engagement ring for the very first time, and it's seriously impressive. The 35-year-old tennis champion took to Reddit on Thursday to share a photo of herself and her fiancé, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, 33, looking very much in love while out on a date night – and featured prominently in the picture is the enormous new rock adorning her finger.

The sweet snapshot shows Serena striking a pose in a white top and black skirt, while kicking up her leg and tilting her head back. Alexis, meanwhile, is all smiles as he stands next to his bride-to-be, looking very dapper in a navy suit.  

The duo rang in the New Year in Auckland, New Zealand.

Williams announced her engagement to the Reddit cofounder via Reddit on Thursday, December 29. In a thread titled “I Said Yes,” the sports star shared their romantic proposal story, revealing that Ohanian surprised her by flying her to Rome, where they had their first date.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed the two were dating back in October 2015. According to an insider, the pair hit if off after meeting at a lunch.
