Gov. Suntai is now stable, ''He can walk now and see well''- Hospital claims.

“He can now walk and see well”: Hospital confirms Gov. Suntai is now stable
Following his air crash accident last October, Governor Danbaba Suntai has been declared medically stable by John Hopkins University Hospital where he is being treated.
This confirmation came barely two months after he was moved from a German hospital to the US Hospital.  According to one of the hospital’s consultants who pleaded not to be quoted, the Taraba State governor has fully gained his consciousness and can now recognise members of his immediate family and the aides around him at the hospital.
The consultant added that there was no iota of truth in an earlier report that claimed that Governor Suntai was suffering from memory loss and could not recognize people .
“Yes, I can confirm that the patient can move his legs and hands. He now sits without any stress, he can see well and he as well recognizes everybody around him “the source said.
He further told LEADERSHIP that the ailing governor at no point suffered from memory loss or any terminal diseases since he was brought into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the John Hopkins University Hospital.
Although, the consultant confirmed that of some ailments that were discovered when tests were carried out on the governor, none was terminal.
Asked if there were chances for Governor Suntai to return to Nigeria soon, the doctor disclosed that his condition was already stable, and stressed that he would be discharged the moment the hospital’s medical team confirms that he was physically and medically fit to undergo a long air trip.
