Running from the law or just bored?

Watch video of a car that changes colour when water is poured over it

Imagine if you could change the colour of your car depending on your mood. Well the paint experts over at Auto Kandy in Bradford have concocted a new type of paint that changes the colour of a car depending on the weather.
Using an orange Nissan Skyline painted in Reactive Paint, they pour water over the car and within seconds it changes to purple. The paint is called theromchromatic and changes colour when the temperature changes. As the temperature rises, the pigment becomes colourless and reveals the base coat underneath. Auto Kandy sells the Reactive Paint at £199 a litre. Useful if you’re trying to evade capture by the police – or just want a different colour of car depending on the weather.
