Who agrees with him?
GEJ came, he saw & he conquered. And he will go down in history if not for anything but for being gracious even when he lost, first time in the history of our country where an incumbent graciously concedes to his opponent. A true democrat.
And famous writer, Chika Unigwe succinctly puts it when she wrote:
I am neither for GEJ nor for GMB. However, I am excited that democracy has carried the day. I am happy that GEJ has done the honorable thing and called GMB to congratulate him. I am pleased that Nigerian leaders recognize now that they can be unseated by the power of the people. I am disappointed in the huge margins between the number of registered voters and the number of accredited voters. We need to educate ourselves better on our civic responsibilities.May we all do what we can to move Nigeria forward. It is our duty. God bless Nigeria.
GEJ did the honorable thing. For that I respect him. He's a good man not just a good leader.

DeleteHe has a good heart but like tinubu said he's not a politician. But he made history by putting his country before he's own interest.unheard of in Africa.
ReplyDeleteWhile we rave at Jonathan's concession of defeat, the tenacity of Buhari is a bigger lesson. He has been dogged in his determination to be the President. For more than a decade, learning and remoulding himself, he is the best prepared person ever to come into the Presidency. That is history too...
