Jamie Foxx's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Costume Revealed!

The actor was spotted on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in New York City on Monday night, where we got the first glimpse at his transformation to play the film's villain, Electro."The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits theaters May 2, 2014.

With some metallic skin, colored eyes and raised veins, the bad guy's look is definitely a little different from the comics ... something Jamie has talked about in previous interviews.

"They want to have it more grounded and not as comic bookie, so it won’t be green and yellow," he told Black Film about the costume. "They want to try new things, like a liquid rubber and things like that, and there are all these bolts and stuff in my arms when they are hanging me upside down."

It seems like his look is closer to the Ultimate version of the character than anything else:
