President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after a
six-day trip to the United States of America to attend the 70th session
of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Buhari was received at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi
Azikiwe international airport by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who was
accompanied by other top government officials and the Inspector-General
of Police, Mr Solomon Arase.
Meanwhile, there is growing anxiety as the national assembly finished proceedings for the day and
indeed for the month of September without reading any correspondence
from the president in respect of ministerial nominees as many had
expected.
As it stands, it presently appears President Buhari may not be
keeping his promise of making his cabinet ministers known in September
as he repeatedly promised.
